While many businesses have been forced to close due to state lockdowns across the country beloved community members, Burnell & Keasha, who we have the pleasure of working with in NOLA—are working tirelessly to keep Galvez Goodies open for customers and their needs as it’s the only store open in the Lower Ninth Ward. 

Hear Burnell’s reaction when our 2019-2020 Executive Board called on Monday, March 23, 2020 to announce that we were able to raise $1,500 online in less than 48 hours to help keep Galvez Goodies up & running during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

We know this would not have been possible without the generous donations of our MG network—both current students & alumni. Thank you so much to all who donated!
